I wanted to inform you that the Orp came in handy the other day when I almost got right hooked but slammed on the aggressive horn and got out (of that situation) OK!

NYC Pedestrians know to ignore bicycle bells but they don’t know what the Orp is and it makes them stop. Impressive.
To be clear, I spoke to this Orp owner for clarity. He told me Orp’s loud sound always does the job and Orp’s new friendly sound, while bell like, seems to just be not be the typical CitiBike (rental bike) sound so, different enough- Editor
